Evidence

Our RAG-AI systems, university collaborations, and the Scientific Framework used to select, design, and manage projects, is what truly sets us apart from other foundations

Evidence forms the backbone of everything we do (See our Principles). We are committed to using the best available scientific evidence to guide our interventions, while also generating new evidence about what works in different contexts.

Rather than creating parallel structures that may undermine local capacity, we work to enhance and support the health systems already serving communities, improving access to health for currently underserved groups of people.

Innovation for its own sake has no place in our work. Every digital tool, every new program model, every new metric must demonstrate clear benefits for the people we serve. The real innovation often lies not in the technology itself but in how it’s adapted and implemented to meet specific real needs.

Beyond Charity, to Dignity and Opportunity

Partnerships go beyond simple donor relationships. Partners include health ministries that also help fund projects, as in the case of Colombia, where Movement Health helped secure 4.571 billion pesos from the Ministry of Information Technology for the Delfos Project.

Rather than arriving with predetermined solutions, we spend months listening, learning, and understanding the unique challenges each country faces.

Projects are not designed to be simple aid projects that create dependency. They are designed as local catalysts enabling wider access to healthcare.

What unites all our projects is their focus on sustainability and local ownership. We design every intervention to continue to grow after our direct involvement ends.

We specifically focus on reaching underserved populations who face multiple barriers to healthcare access. This includes rural communities, urban poor populations, indigenous peoples, and others who have been historically marginalized by traditional healthcare systems.

Our purpose is ultimately about human dignity and potential. Every person deserves the chance to live a healthy, productive life, regardless of where they were born or their economic circumstances.

By preventing, diagnosing and treating NCDs effectively, we help people remain active contributors to their families and communities, pursue their dreams, and live with dignity throughout their lives. This is the deeper purpose that drives our work and inspires our partners to join us.
